Reality TV promotes the worst values and qualities especially in African American People and camouflages it all as entertainment. I don't believe that the producers care about the influence that these shows have on millions of people. It is in my opinion that these shows are rate driven. We really do not take into consideration the impact that it leaves on people's relationships in the real world. Not to mention that the cast is not thinking about the aftermath either. Why would we display our life's on an open platform such as reality Tv for temporary fame? It utters a lot about us as a people. Reality Tv demonstrates to us that we are rated by our physical appearance. If you are not coke bottle shaped, wearing super long hair and a paint palette of makeup then the chances of being in a desirable relationship or successful are slim to none. The Reality Tv shows are based on semi-artificial circumstances and environments. They are living a lifestyle that's untrue, the cars are rented, the houses that we see are prompt's, the clothes are borrowed from some of the top designer and more than often the drama is staged.
