Culture assessment of Starbucks and Caffe Nero
Culture is an essential aspect of any organization, influencing how employees behave and interact with each other, as well as how customers connect with the brand. Two companies with distinct cultures are Starbucks and Caffe Nero, which are organizations that I used to interact with frequently as a customer.
Starbucks is located in busy shopping centers and highways, easily accessible so that customers can visit the stores conveniently. Starbucks has a clean, modern, minimalist decor that evokes relaxation. Starbucks incorporates a design that encourages customers to sit and work from the store by offering tables with power outlets and comfortable chairs, and enough space to work. On the other hand, Caffe Nero's locations are in busy streets or areas of the city. Most of the stores are small in size with rustic, Italian style insides that remind of a warm, homey feel. Caffe Nero provides a cozy atmosphere for customers to socialize, relax or work comfortably.

The coffee cups have recycled and recyclable material logos on them. Starbucks uses a brief and straightforward slogan, "To inspire and nurture the human spirit – one person, one cup, and one neighborhood at a time" indicating the organization's philosophy. On the other hand, Caffe Nero's logo has a vintage design, with 'Caffe Nero' printed in brown, symbolizing the Italian heritage, and coffee culture. The slogan, "Our passion. Your pleasure" indicates the organization's dedication to providing customers with quality coffee and enjoyable
