On December 27 1016 i was at work doing what i do best lifeguarding it was so busy and we were constantly jumping into the lilly pads (where kids can hold on ropes and balance on floating platforms trying to get across without falling in.) and pulling little kids who thought they could swim but turns out they could not swim. And with all that happening we were on our toes keeping everyone safe. It was about noon when i was roamer and i made my rounds around the park to see if any lifeguard needed a water bottle or bathroom break. All seemed normal till i saw a girl laying on the floor so i went to see if she was ok but i got no responce so i blew my whistle and had my manager paged to get some help. We turned on the machine and listened to the prompts and it told us to stand back,charging , then my manager told me to press the big button on the AED to deliver the shock. I did what he told me then the AED machine told ue to continue CPR so we did i was still on compressions and anthony was still on rescue breaths we continues for 25 more min till the Emergency team came and gave us a hand on of the EMS hooked her up to the air tank and told me to continue compressions and told me we had to get her to a conscious state in order to move her to the ambulance. So i continued compressions and 20 min later she started to cough and we knew she had regained conscious.
