Have you ever read or listened to the legends of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. Ushely in fairy tales is about a battle between two opposites who fight over love or peace often showing being chivalrous. And in this story Sir Gawain documents many forms of being chivalrous. The legends of Sir Gawain mostly display arthur demonstrating act of chivalry. Based on the story “young Arthur" by Robert San Souci and “Sir Gawain and the green knight” by Michael Morpurgo, Sir Gawain displays multiple acts of loyalty, honesty, country, and courage. While Sir Gawain is very chivarrest. Some people think the Young Arthur is more chivalrous. For example in “Young Arthur” by Robert San Souci Arthur shows many signs of being chivalrous. Like when he thinks Kay is being arrested for the crime of stealing the king's sword from the stone. When it was actually him. So Arthur did the right thing and turned himself in he screams “It wasn’t Kay’s fault!I brought the sword to him” (San Souci 666) Another way characters can show chivalry is by displaying any form of courage and Sir Gawain shows that by going after the Green Knight.
