The Cruelty And Corruption of The Panem Government

The Cruelty used in Panem is a sign of what a corrupt country could look like. The corrupt government also contributes to the suffering of all the other people who live in Panem. Suzanne Collins the author of “The Hunger Games” captures the sense of the corruption, and cruelty of the Capitol.

The corruption in Panem is shown in all the districts as all of them have limited rights and almost no freedoms. People in Panem are treated differently known as a hierarchy. The Capitol is in control on whatever they do and they basically see them as subjects or people who can be thrown away. The Capitol kills whoever they want and the people can do nothing and if they do they would be killed along with them. The president Coriolanus Snow is an evil dictator that seeks to make people suffer endlessly.
