Faster, you filthy dogs! In the book “Night”, Elie faces some very excruciating events that take place in several concentration camps. These camps include Auschwitz, Buna, Gleiwitz, and Buchenwald. And while some of them are just cruel, most events are dehumanizing. Even though they were humans, some dehumanizing moments were when they killed a Jew for food, and ran like dogs to their next concentration camp. Often, we see dogs running on the streets, roads, and in the woods. They will run for several miles, nonstop, as if someone had the power to stop them. This often categorized as running away.
