Time is timeless, like a broken clock growling menacingly. As the hours passed, the future receded. Daisy was rested lifelessly, feeling disorientated like a broken doll. Unable to disconnect from the torturous flashbacks encountered when her eyes were closed. Each night, the battle between Daisy’s past and present began, sparking a perplexed disarray of her future, always leaving her with a sick sensation. The tragic events of the previous eight years had Daisy feeling imprisoned in her own skin. Parallel to the obscurity she felt in the roaring Summer of 1922.

As the night drew close and the trees donned their vibrant hues. A chill crept into the air. The desolate Autumn evening had arrived. After hours had passed, Tom arrived home.
