To reach the change that individuals desire, they will have to fight by speaking out for what they believe is right. But opposers argue that disobedience is nothing short of trouble-making, as protestors are going against the rules and causing havoc. In other words, the protestors will not bring any beneficial change, but will end up making the situation worse than it already was to begin with. This may not be the case as many world events like the American Revolution, the Civil Rights

In summary, this justifies that disobedience can be key to social change as America fought for what it believed in and gained its ability to govern itself, free of any rule. Overall, disobedience is responsible for the equality we as citizens of the U.S. have today. To add on, Strikes are another event that has resulted in social progress. Just recently, actors and other cinema members went on strike due to low wages and poor working conditions. This spread like wildfire as it turned many heads due to the broadcasting across the nation and led to many celebrities joining the protest, which greatly contributed to the movie industry employees. Also, this strike put movies and television shows in production to a halt because only a few employees were showing up to work. Because of this, the workers on strike got what they deserved: an increase in wages and secure working conditions. To sum up, strikes continue to prove that
