Do you think running from the best hunter in the world fair?
In the short story “The Most Dangerous Game” by Richard Connell, General Zaroff claims that he has created a game that he believes is fair, but is it?
To begin with Zaroff's game is not fair if that you have survive three days on an island that you never been on
“There are jungles with a maze of trails in them ,hills ,swamps”. How can you know how to survive in this environment if you are a sailor?
“That's the trouble with the sailors there's days they have dull brains to begin with and they do not know how to get around in the woods. They do exclusively stupid and obvious things”. This shows that the sailors don't know how to get around in the woods and it is not fair that they have to hide from Zaroff in the woods where they don't know how to.

“Ivan will supply you with hunting clothes, food, a knife” but he gets all his things inside his house and you get only a limited supply.
“I give him a supply of food and an excellent hunting knife. I give him three hours. I am to follow only with a pistol with the smallest caliber and range “ all you get is a knife for a weapon you can't defend yourself very well with a knife. It shows that Zaroff has a gun and is a very good hunter and you get only a knife and clothes.
