“What we have done for ourselves alone, dies with us; what we have done for others and the world remains and is immortal”(Albert Pike) Because people in society don’t think about helping out others and the ones that do are rewarded According to the novel, Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury, he shows us a dystopian society and how our society is become much more like it day by day that our society will end up like theirs. I believe that our modern-day society and the dystopian society in the novel have very few contrast and many comparisons in the following areas, how their government is, their uses of technology, and their relationships with people in society.

Although each side has their disparities they are still very similar in a portion the other specific categories, their uses of technology, and their connections towards each other. Laws are critical for any general society. Like any administration they have to influence their people to feel great with where they are at and needs to influence them to feel safe so they make laws to help with that. The firemen in the novel are permitted to burn books and individuals on the off chance that they stand up to. One example is “‘Do you ever read any of the books you burn?’ He laughed. ‘That’s against the law!’”(Bradbury, 3).
