True equality will never be achieved, in this essay I will be getting into how I believe true equality can not be achieved and how I saw after reading this in both Ray Bradbury’s Fahrenheit 451 along with George Orwell’s Animal farm. Then going into how we see this in both and how they compare/what similarities I see between the two when it comes to how equality will not be accomplished in their society along with in ours today. Let's start off by looking at how we see this in animal farm, i'll start by saying this was a good book i enjoyed but to get right into it we start by seeing how the pigs are above all the other animals because they can read and write for example when they said “Four legs good, two legs better! This is mainly shown in how no one is allowed to do what they choose like reading books as shown in this quote “There must be something in books, something we can’t imagine, to make a woman stay in a burning house; there must be something there. You don’t stay for nothing.” in this where they caught a woman who had books and burned down her house with her in it and one of the firefighters montag can't understand why you would chose to stay in a burning house with your books other than leaving and just letting the books and house burn. But in this book the firefighter montag decided to steal some books from a house that they burned down because surely they have to have something in them even though he knows if he gets caught it's going to be bad and they will burn down his house and it's so unequal because they choose to read if they want because they know if they get caught they will have really bad consequences and could end up with them without a house “And I thought about books. And for the first time I realized that a man was behind each one of the books. A man had to think them up. A man had to take a long time to put them down on paper. And I’d never even thought that thought before.” this is after he realized how much he liked books even tho he knew it was wrong. And this is how fahrenheit 451 showed
