Ans. It is our intent to focus on the practical application of ethics in decision making. We need to start by creating some clarifying distinctions to facilitate our purpose. Ethical leadership is the demonstration of normatively appropriate conduct of personal actions and interpersonal relationships, and the promotion of such conduct to followers of two-way communication, reinforcement, and decision-making.
Ken Johnson has focused on this connection to identify four tightly interrelated components (Johnson, 2003, p. 1) of ethical leadership:
Purpose - the ethical leader
Knowledge - the ethical leader is knowledge to inquire, judge, and act prudently
