Between the 1870s and the 1920s, imperialism increased because of economic, social, and political forces. Economically, many groups were interested in colonizing other countries because of their natural resources. Socially, they wanted to make themselves the highest and they wanted to look the best. Politically, they wanted to make more income and be the richest country. Two groups in particular were the most interested in imperialism.
Fascism during the time of the second world war was a massive trend (1 Sep. 1939 – 2 Sep. 1945) which was influencing numerous nations across the globe, including Australia to an extent. The likes of Germany, Italy, as well as Japan, were all supporters of the terrifying principles, philosophies, and methods of fascism. Pseudoscience and the likes were used to back up their attacks and beliefs that some humans are better than others. The effect which fascism had on the Japanese was significant. The Japanese found inspiration in from the past in the Bushido which believed in the restoration of 'racial and spiritual purity' which had been lost.

In 1938, Japan announced its plan to constitute a new order in East Asia (Doc C). In this new order, the rule of the Japanese emperor would be drawn-out over Earth. This was a driving force for Japan’s invasion because of their ambitious desires. By damaging an American naval base, it gave Japan the ability to also occupy China and Manchuria leading to a rise in their military power (Doc C). Japan’s presence in more of East Asia brought them one step closer to expanding their authority.

During the time of 1941 the Japanese economy began to bloom exponentially in the industrial and militarily fields. Japan’s growth occurred due to the trade provided to the country due to its low resources. Acquiring Oil and Metals it allowed the Country to become a contender in their cause against the Allies. However, during this period Franklin D. Roosevelt (FDR) had his own interests and goals of the war time.
The repsonse of both the Ottoman Empire and Japan were comparable, in essence they both adopted imperalistic ambitions to contain the encroachment of European and American state(s) into their spheres of influence in the Indian and Pacific Ocean. The west’s encounters with these polities facilitated the west to become increasingly interested in the commercial opportunities of the various aforementioned regions in order to promote foreign trade and obtain a strategic positioning in their foreign affairs. War Without Mercy “Ultimately, it brought about a revolution in racial consciousness throughout the world that continues to the present day.” (Dower 4). During World War II, besides morbid deaths, racism was one of the ultimate factors which sparked this tragic period of time. With the use of propaganda such as cartoons, films, and several other media induced strategies, the extreme hatred between the Americans and Japanese was increasing.
On December, 7th, 1941, Japan bombed Pearl Harbor. As a result the Americans decided to intern those of Japanese descent on the west-coast of the United States. The Japanese were uprooted from their homes and were relocated to internment camps where they would live their lives for the next 4 years. Japanese internment was a horrid act put upon those of Japanese ancestry in World War II, only using the common good as a reason to judge why the Japanese should be interned. The Civil liberties of the Japanese on the west-coast were more important than the common good because there was no valid evidence that the Japanese were planning an attack with their homeland.
For those who supported imperialism in the 1900s followed three vital reasons in the encouragement in which were Economic Factors, Military Factors, and Cultural Factors. In the United States officials have direct or indirect affects in the jurisdiction between other countries. In fact, the United States in this case wanted to acquire new markets in which goods are to be sold. Imperialism pertains a crucial military factor in which enforcement and overall involvement of imperialism. A key factor in the opposition of imperialism is the moral belief of democracy and the laws we abide to as citizens in the United States.
During the Meiji restoration, militarism and nationalism began to take over Japan. Unknown to the rest of the world, Japan had started focusing in on themselves. This is what initially sparked the nationalism and militarism that eventually took over Japan. Moving forward, after World War I and the signing of the Treaty of Versailles, Japan had now gained control of Shandong in China. The addition of Shandong was exactly what Japan needed at the time.

It originated in Italy during World War I.
During the first half of the 20th century, the Japanese empire was at the peak of its power. Starting form 1910 up until 1945, the end WWII, Korea was being held by Japan as a colony. During this time, Japan and China entered The Second Sino-Japanese War that stared in 1937 and ended with Japanese surrender in 1945. These Japanese actions have had such an impactful effect on the people that it hurt, that films, such as Devils on the Door step and The Handmaiden, have even contemporary films express negative emotions to the long-lasting effects of the Japanese empire.
The importance In the United States, there are so many workers working out in the oilfield, especially in Texas, where there is so much oil. However, welding is the most common job that people can work here in Texas, and there are companies that are in need of more welders. This career may be helpful for people, but also difficult when the oil goes down. Regardless, welding is one of the top jobs that anyone can choose, and even better in the future.
