It is in man’s nature to be greedy. Shown by the pigs in Animal Farm, the pigs’ greediness displays why the nature of humanity is evil. “The animals had assured as a matter of course that these would be shared out equally; one day, however, the order went forth that all the windfalls were to be collected and brought to the harness-room for the use of the pig”(Orwell 22). In this situation, the pigs are telling the other animals as all the windfalls must go to them or else the farm will not function properly. The pigs do not really need the windfalls in order to maintain the farm; they want it because of their greed. Much like the pigs, Romeo miller’s mom, Sonya Miller, also displays greed. Romeo Miller has made statements about how his mother’s greed has changed her for the worse and that “money will tempt you, money will turn you into a slave, money will corrupt the people around you but most importantly, money will come and go” (Nelson). In Romeo Millers statements, he says that greed will change who you are as a person and will give you a new outlook on life. That new outlook on life will be based on the greed the person possesses. Their life will be more involved around how much money they have, and what luxury items they possess. They will also start to push people away in their life. The greediness consumes them too much and starts to destroy the relationships they have with people especially family.
