Did you know greed will corrupt and change people? Take the Whites for example, they wish for money while knowing there would be consequences and they lost their son. Through the story The monkey's Paw, the Whites are visited by a friend with a magical item, the Whites makes the decision to wish while knowing there will be consequences. Greed takes over people, Mr. White wished for money and his son was killed in a factory and he got his money Mrs.White wished her son back to life, but then Mr. White wished his son back to rest because you knew there would be more consequences. The whites were the same as any other family only if they weren't corrupted by an evil force of greed. My first example is how greed affects people's minds.

My second example is the visit of Sergeant Major Morris "Well perhaps it's just been a magic" said the sergeant major when the whites realized they had a good chance to make their wishes come true greed took over and Mr. White gave in and wished for money. By the stories end Mr. White finally realized that his actions will have consequences. He was chide about the fact that he wanted his wife not to wish their son back to life. As soon as the Whites knew they had the possibility to be greedy they took their chances and they wished for money and once her son was taken from them, they realized what they did and they couldn't fix it. The Whites learned greed was a very evil sin. To be candor, you need to know that it can and will corrupt your mind, hopefully you learn from the story for everything you do will have consequences good or
