Hamlet states “How strange or odd some’er I bear myself /As I perchance hereafter shall think meet To put an antic disposition on)” (1.5.190-192) “ when he finds out through the Ghost otherwise known as the late King Hamlet, that Claudius or King Claudius, the brother to the now passed King Hamlet, actually murdered King Hamlet. In William Shakespeare's play Hamlet, Hamlet who is the main character, goes through a series of events which sometimes question his decisions that he makes. Though Hamlet is still considered not a full adult he faces situations in the play that forces him to make adult like decisions. How is being insane defined. Can being insane be defined as grieving because that is what Hamlet was trying to do. Grieving is an important thing to do in life and everybody handles emotions differently but in this case Hamlets were a bit out there. It is important to always be listened to and for everybody's emotions to be important. In some situations Hamlet's feelings towards things were not always taken in account. As an example, you might use Hamlet's father's death. His father died, they had a funeral, there was food. As said in the play, Hamlet says that the food that was used for the funeral reception was also used for the wedding. That is how close the funeral and wedding were. So close that they were able to use leftovers. This is a perfect example on how Hamlet's Emotions were not taken into account. Just like in this part of the book when The King is talking about Hamlet's insanity and that he thinks that he must be sent off to another place for a while because of his emotions.The King states, “Madness is great ones must (unwatched) go.”
