Teens show bad decisions and haste due to them being young, not responsible, and not full of wise decision making skills. In Romeo and Julliet haste is easily shown to be a bad decision and bad idea. Throughout Romeo and Julliet written by William Shakespear, it showed how Romeo, Juliet, and Friar Lawrence show haste in their character by rushing into many different things and also bad decision making is shown throughout the play. Romeo in the play makes many bad decisions and shows haste. Throughout Romeo and Julliet it is prominently shown that a common theme in this book is haste. For example the first time haste was shown in the play would be when she hastily went into a relationship with Romeo ``If you Romeo were a bird I would kill you since I love you too much.” (Pg. 113) Shown here is how quick Julliet is to fall in love with Romeo and how she made a bad decision due to the haste. Julliet also shows that she is willing to put their family rivalry away for Romeo after meeting him just now “Oh Romeo take another name it's just a name.” (Act 2 Scene 2) She due to this haste made many bad decisions as well, for example faking her death, lying to her father, and Count Paris. In the end of the play Julliet shows how she in haste didn't want to marry Paris so she faked her death. When she did so and woke up she saw Romeo laying dead. She couldn't deal with that so in the haste of the moment she stabbed and killed herself. In conclusion, we could see how Julliet shows hate and how she had many situations in which she made bad decisions throughout the Romeo and Juliet
