Twenty people were killed because of the ignorance of a group of eight girls and a slave. Now that I have your attention I would like to tell you just how historically accurate The Crucible was. In The Crucible there’s actually quite a few things that line up with what history says. For example some of the girls’ names are the same in The Crucible as they were in history but of course not every name was put in the story. With the exception of a few minor details such as ages and the actual doctor The Crucible is very accurate. As previously stated in this paper most of the names in The Crucible were historically accurate however there were a few names missing in the story. For example historically speaking there were girls named Mary Walcott,
