In the novel “To Kill a Mockingbird “ by Harper Lee, two siblings Scout and Jem Finch along with many other important characters experience the mysterious and betrayal factors of their hometown Maycomb County. These characters vacate many hidden messages that project their personalities. In the story, the character Tom Robinson was accused of beating and molesting Mayella Ewell (daughter of Bob Ewell). As everyone in Maycomb county titles a person that defends African American “Nigger-Lover”, Atticus Finch (Scout and Jems father) is against that cliché; he is rather humble. Bob Ewell is one of the characters that slightly does not follow the law of life. He demands change but it is easier said than done; his definition of change is revenge. Ewell plans to take his revenge out on Atticus, Jem and, Scout for being witnesses of the humiliation he went through. Boo Radley on the other hand, is titled as a ‘delinquent’. He is judged by his past for being so called “mental or sick”; little do they know that those rumors contradict who he really is. Boo Radley has a disability, if he were to be put on trial and be sentenced guilty for saving Jem and Scout there would definitely be a case of judgment by the prosecutor and defense attorney. …show more content…
Boo just wants to be left alone. That’s one thing that might happen if people were to know the truth about Boo saving Jem and Scout. So it was very thoughtful of Mr. Tate to keep this between Atticus and himself. That was a lesson Scout also learned in the story. Do not kill a mockingbird because it has never done anything to hurt you.
