Conflict is represented in many different ways in the 17th-century tragedy written by Shakespeare as both intrapersonal conflict and interpersonal conflict play a huge role. The play Othello reveals a lot about how conflict affects the character and their relationships. The conflict is mainly revolved around Othello and his relationships with the other characters, he encounters conflict with himself, Desdemona and Iago, however, there is also conflict between Roderigo and Iago’s relationship.
