Johnny cade’s Obituary Johnny Cade, A greaser from The Outsiders died in 1965 at the young age of 16. Johnny was born on March 1, 1949 to his parents, Mr.Cade and Mrs.Cade. Not exactly sure when he became friends with the greasers which are Dallas Winston, Ponyboy Curtis, Sodapop Curtis and ect.. He became a greaser, the youngest one out of all of them.
Heroes are all around you but you just need to find them. In the novel The Outsiders Johnny is a hero. S.E. Hinton uses Johnny Cade's vulnerable personality and broken home life in The Outsiders to suggest that heroes do not have to be perfect.
Therefore, I believe that Johnny Cade is both a villain and a hero. The reasons why I believe this are because of what happened at the church, the drive-in theater, and when Johnny was gathering supplies. To begin with, Johnny Cade is a hero when he stands up to Dally to protect Cherry. This is shown on page 24, where it says, “Johnny gulped and got a little pale but he said,”You heard me. Leave her alone” (Hinton).
In the beginning of the novel, The Outsiders, written by S.E Hinton, the author portrays Johnny Cade as a weak and helpless character in the book. He`s seen as a dynamic character that has gone through extremely tough times that are difficult for him to handle alone. ``He was the gangs`pet, everyones` kid brother``, if it hadn`t been for the gang Johnny would have never felt love nor affection. He always seemed to have an anxious and suspicious look in his eyes, he was a nervous wreck. He struggled in the areas of self-confidence and loving himself, that even the idea of suicide popped in his head.
In the book the outsiders, Johnny Cade is the main hero. Johnny had saved many of kids lives from the church that was blazing on fire. As well as his best friend Ponyboy's. He also saved Ponys life when the Socs where trying to take his life by drowning him in the fountain. Even during the last moments of his life he was still thinking more about others than he was his self.
Heroes can be anywhere. A hero is someone who is always willing to help others no matter the circumstances. Ponyboy, Johnny, and Soda are all heroes. Many people can be heroes but all for different reasons. Ponyboy is a hero for many reasons.
The hero in “Adventures of Huckleberry Finn” is Jim. Jim is a strong character who risks his life in order to become free from slavery. Nevertheless, Jim continues to risks his life in order to save Huckleberry from various situations. There are many illustrations of this phenomenon within “Adventures of Huckleberry Finn”. Jim’s bravery, loyalty, and strength portrays leadership characteristics, which reciprocates my definition of a true American hero.
I personally think Johnny cade is the hero he saved and risked his life for those kids. Johnny was already going through a lot enough at home He is only 16 years old, but has already been beaten down by the cruelty of life. Johnny and Ponyboy had to run because he might if go to jail killing a rich soc. johnny already knew he was going to die so he wrote Ponyboy note. He risk his life without one regret that's what you called hero in my mind were all heroes but, in different ways show of a woman/men true color you see the faith in them.

People usually talk about fictional characters with supernatural powers as heroes. Soldiers, firefighters and volunteers are also often called heroes.
A hero can be anyone around you. A hero is a person who is strong, has courage, helps others, and does good deeds. Ponyboy deserves to be considered a hero. Johnny also deserves to be considered a hero too. Dally does not deserve to be considered a hero though, unlike Ponyboy and Johnny.
