Judgment of man

Human beings perceive others in different ways depending on how their emotional and mental state aligns with said thing. To us, we call this judgment. Every human has judgment whether they wish to or not, whether it's disliking a food or disproving someone's actions. It's part of our moral compass to pass judgment on things that require it, like poisonous food or dangerous situations. But, as the end of the story approaches, it is revealed that the man they once thought was scary known as boo, was a kind quiet man named Arthur who just wanted to be accepted. But unfortunately, society never accepted him as a normal human being, and the reason he stays locked in his house is omitted by Jem's conversation with Scout. “I think I’m beginning to understand why Boo Radley’s stayed shut up in the house all this time… it’s because he wants to stay inside.” as the children mature because of Atticus's influence, they slowly start to perceive Arthur with new eyes and realize that maybe the monster isn't him, but society. The effect society had on Arthur was extremely severe, to the point that it is suggested that his health declined from having to stay inside all
