Miscommunication Can Be Deadly Miscommunication is the root of misunderstanding what people want in their daily life. In William Shakespeare’s play, Romeo and Juliet, many of the characters do not communicate thoroughly resulting in a tragic incident happening to them. The lack of clarifying their wishes, and requests, refusing to say what is happening in their lives, as well as judging things too soon is what causes the tragedies to happen. In Romeo and Juliet, the failure to communicate properly is the reason for the tragedies to happen in this play.
