Rather they bring up that when the spirit of nationalism is adopted in countries, it always leads to the same thing; bloodshed and war. Many Canadians show a sense of nationalism when talking about free healthcare, being a part of a collective belief that free healthcare can only benefit oneself and the country. Free national healthcare is a place where collective belonging is fulfilled and takes the responsibility off the individual to meet payment for their physical well-being otherwise. Canada also takes pride in its natural resources, using this to support the country’s profit, while also still preserving it for the people's enjoyment.
