This goes with John Steinbeck's novel Of Mice and Men because it follows two best friends on there juny to a farm where something happens that changes everything for ever.Wich make garge do something that he new in his heart was the best thing for Lennie. Garage did the right thing by killing Lennie so he wouldn’t end up being in jail or worse being murdered by Curly. When Gargie took the life of his best and perhaps only real friend, he gave Lennie the only change he had of being safe from jail. The story makes it was very clear that when Lennie is scared he tends to grab on to thing and not let go which can sometimes hurt someone. In chapter 3 Garage tells Slim about how lennie held on to the girls dress in weeds because he was scared. If george didn't kill Lennie, curley would murdered him in a brutally and nonhuman way. When Curly sees his wife dead in the barn his rage came spewing out like a volcano, and all he could think to do was murder Lennie. On pg 97 Curly says “when you see um, don't give him no chance. shut for his guts.”this would be torture lennie because it would take more than one shot for Lennie to die and Lennie would have notest that he was getting murdered. This would not be good because if Lennie would of known he was being murdered he probably would have gotten scared. Furthermore when Curly figures out who killed his wife the words he said gives it away that all he wants to do is kill Lennie. On page 96 Curly says “ The son of a bitch did it grab my shotgun i'll kill him.” Curly has never liked Lennie, and has wanted to see him dead from the beginning.
