Tristin Long Mrs. Lawson English 10 11 January 2023 TKAM Argumentive Essay In To Kill a Mockingbird, it is the communities fault that Tom Robinson died. Tom Robinson is an African American who was falsely accused of raping Mayela. Tom is mostly mentioned in chapters 17 to 21. It is the communities fault because most of the community is incredibly racist and doesn't listen to the evidence pointed in Tom’s favor. Lets us begin by talking about how they are racist. The word “racist” describes an obvious difference between two or more groups mostly consisting of the same species. It is mostly used to describe or be prejudiced toward one group or to one another. In this case, it would be most of the jury being racist toward Tom because of his skin color. “... This shows that Tom did not beat her and take advantage of her. It shows that instead, Bob was the one who beat Mayella. However, some people don't believe that the community killed
