There were various clashes during the 1920’s. The Ku Klux Klan is an example of one, they were a Political clash because they disliked African-Americans, Catholics, Jews, and all immigrants. Another Clash was the Traditional women and the Flappers. This was considered a cultural clash because the women who wanted to become flappers would try to rebel and push everything to the limits. Another clash was between whites and blacks after WWI because of the Great Migration the blacks were working while the whites were at war and when they came back the blacks still wanted to work and there wasn’t enough jobs. There were many clashes that cause disputes between many people over the old or traditional lifestyle and the new. The Ku Klux Klan is a group that grew a lot in the 1920’s and is still around today. That’s where the Great Migrations comes in. All of the African-Americans from the south move north so that they could get a job themselves and the work owners accepted them because they had no one else to work for them. The migrants had to deal with harsh working conditions and competitive home finding because so many of them came to the cities that they over crowded them. When the white men came back from war they were looking for their old jobs back but they did not get them back because the African-American men are working there. This caused fights between the blacks and the whites. The way to work the blacks would get beaten so that the whites could get their jobs back but that was not always the case and the people who were willing to take the beating would keep on working. This clash caused a lot of racial problems between the two because they both wanted to work so that they could get money to feed their families but there wasn’t enough
