By analyzing this message we learn that propaganda is a very powerful way to convince others your ideas are better than those of others when executed correctly. The Propaganda used in Animal Farm is important because of the manipulation used to convince the other animals that the leader at the time will always be correct. "All men are enemies, All animals are comrades" is just one example of how propaganda was used throughout the story. The use of propaganda in animal farms allows the character to manipulate and take control of other animals. Propaganda can be effective in terms of holding power only when used precisely and correctly. For instance, Squealer was caught using propaganda by changing the "seven commandments" which is to ensure full equality. The author points out that the squealer says how the pigs get to have extra food for themselves because they are "Brain workers"(Orwell 18). The quote is referring to a squealer using propaganda to his advantage by trying to convince the others that the pigs are better than everyone else. This is important because not only is the squealer in the wrong but his whole agenda of being biased is the only right way to solve or prove anything.
