Throughout time, different people have had different ideas. There are some people who would swear this quote is completely true; however, there are some people would argue the quote is wrong. In early times, Christians believed sex between two, unmarried people was a sin. According to “Is Oral Sex A Sin,” they also believed: "Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral." This means having sex with the person you are married to is accepted, and is not a sin; however, it is a sin to commit adultery. According to “The Bible on Sex,” sex is holy. Different people have had different viewpoints throughout time. A Christian in earlier times might have had to ask himself two questions in order to determine if there was a connection. With whom you have sex? And for what reason or reasons? Puritans in the seventeenth century would consider sex to be a sin. They would also consider any sin to be the work of the devil. Ultimately connecting sex, sin, and the devil from a Puritan viewpoint. Today, the United States has many viewpoints. I believe sex, sin, and the devil are not connected, but someone may argue the opposite.
