Uncle Tom’s Cabin Racial Stereotypes For many years stereotypes have been overlooked. We all know that we make stereotypes, but we often ignore it. Some of the common stereotypes are; white people can’t jump, all Arabs are terrorists, and all black people listen to hip hop. A stereotype is when someone sees an individual do something and they think that everyone that looks like them does the same thing. In the novel “Uncle Tom’s Cabin” you can see a lot of stereotyping about slaves. It is clear that Stowe is trying to show us slavery even in the good times.
