(Who do you blame for the Downfall of Macbeth)
In the story Macbeth by Shakespeare there is a lot of terrible things that happen and go wrong in the story. I think we should blame the witches because it's all there fault that Macbeth went crazy. The witches started by telling Banquo that he wasn’t going to be king, but his son would be and a bunch of other things. Macbeth got upset that the witches didn’t tell Macbeth that he wasn’t going to be king. Macbeth got really upset and found out the only way to become king was to kill the king and took power. The witches shouldn’t of even told either one of them about their vision of each other then Macbeth wouldn’t get jealous and go off killing a bunch of people. Clearly if the witches just keep there mouth shut then there would of been no downfall of Macbeth. “All hail, Macbeth! Hail to thee, Thane of Glamis! All hail, Macbeth! Hail to thee, Thane of Cawdor! All hail, Macbeth, that shalt be king hereafter!” Page 327, Lines …show more content…
Yes, Macbeth’s wife is too blame because she keep telling Macbeth that he wasn’t a real man if he didn’t become king and make her the queen. She keep telling him that he didn’t really lover her and didn’t want to make her happy because Macbeth wouldn’t kill the king and become king himself. She keep on pushing Macbeth to do something that he didn’t want to do, he thought that Duncan was a really great guy why should I kill him. He didn’t do anything to Macbeth they became friends. The only reason why is because his wife Lady Macbeth wouldn’t stop saying that he wasn’t a man and that he didn’t love him, so he wanted to prove to her that he did really love her and wanted to make her the queen of Scotland. “Was the hope drunk wherein you dressed yourself? Hath it slept since? And wakes now, to look so green and pale at what it did so freely? From this time such I account thy love. Art thou afeard to be the same in thine own act and valor As thou art in desire? Wouldst thou have that which thou esteem'st the ornament of life and live a coward in thine own esteem letting i dare not wait upon i would like the poor cat i th’ adage? Prithee peace I dare do all that may become a man: who dares do more is none” Page 338, Lines
