I chose to respond to the song Exchange by Bryson Tiller. This song explains how Bryson Tiller feels about his ex-girlfriend from college. He gets personal about his break up and fantasizes about igniting an old flame. The first lines of the song say” This is what happens when I think about you. I start reminiscing. I get in my feelings. Next time around I want it to be different.” Basically, he is speaking directly to his ex-girlfriend saying how he wants another chance because he knows he’s the one who messed up and he intends on doing better. They shared a lot of memories in the past, spending days together and now they’re broken up, he can’t help but sit and think of the good times they once had.
