Humans, they have some of the best technology that has ever been created. Being one myself I find it hard not to notice that. I’ve always noticed since the birth of mobile smartphones that we can’t stop using them. Seeing that many teens are getting used to technology at a rapid pace shows that this is only the beginning. The obsession starts with social media, google, and any new trends with smartphones. They find it easier to distract themselves self with anything going on in there phone then actually talking to someone or being active. Making sense of how this started won’t be easy but it will show in what direction our generation is headed to. We have technology installed all around us with TV’s, houses, and even refrigerator. We go to it every time we can’t find an answer. It makes it easy on humans so that’s why we use it every day. The question is “why has google made us stupid”, on the first note I find it common for every human to go on there. Although we don’t have an answer and google can give it to us in seconds which is very helpful, I can’t help but notice why do we ask Google everything of the unknown? Is it because were lazy or, because we find it easy for our self to search and get an answer in seconds. An author named Nicholas Carr wrote a short story about this topic and I liked it he gave very good reason and pointers that made sense. Like this sentence “They found that people using the site exhibited “a form of skimming activity”, hoping from one source to another and rarely returning to any source they’d already visited. Nicholas Carr”. I found this to be interesting cause it made sense to me because I do this and if the studies were correct then I guess may other do it to. As we continue this journey through technology I hope it continues to improve us instead of making us lazy. I found nothing wrong with how technology and how has it evolved but it changed humans thought processes. Using it the best way will make us better humans, the only problem is that we don’t use it the best
