Motlow State Community College does not offer a cafeteria for students at the Smyrna Center. Constructing a cafeteria at Motlow State Community College would be beneficial for everyone, including the staff and students. A cafeteria would offer convenience for students and staff, increase the attendance rate, and allow students to engage in social interactions with one another. Not only is cafeteria favorable for the Motlow State community, but it would multiply the revenue for the school. Predominantly, constructing a cafeteria will improve the Smyrna campus as a whole.
Limestone College in Gaffney, S.C. is known for its athletics. Most people would think a school with majority of student-athletes, would have a decent café. Well don’t expect much from Limestone College, it has a horrible café. Students who live on campus must have a meal plan, which is ridiculous. Most students throw away a lot of food which is a waste of their money.
In summarizing Senate Bill 200 (SB 200), SB 200 offers a more effective use of resources to hold offenders responsible, attain better results for Kentucky youths in the juvenile justice system and their families, and maintain public safety. The amendments to the bill are grounded on recommendations from a bi-partisan, inter-branch task force and extensive stakeholder input. The bill addresses three key points to ensure improved effectiveness and outcomes. Firstly, using the right resources on the right child to produce better outcomes. SB 200 uses the costly resources/treatments on more serious offenders by placing restrictions on the commitment of lower level offenders and the length of time they may be placed out-of-home.
Bring back ice cream and the snacks. Bring back the legendary cookies. #bringitback Over Christmas break, I talked to one of my closest friends, Alex Campbell, who graduate AHS in 2010. He told me stories on how great this school used to be and the food was one of the highlights. Since he has graduated, we have only gone downhill. "
The first thing they could do is start with the mental health. They could try and raise their budget, or focus it more on mental health. In fact from 2007- 2011 only 14% of budgets were spent on mental health care (State Prison Health Care Spending - The Pew Charitable Trusts). If the budget is raised, the could have therapy programs, vocational programs, and better access to medications. We could also reward good behavior.
So trust more with the Trustworths today. The first issue we have noticed is the food the schools serve. Many students have said the food is disgusting and that it makes them sick. We have came up with a solution for this issue. Each month we will have an optional survey for students to take, to pick the foods they would like to eat, and
Another thing is that if they inspect better they can fire the people that are just spitting and dropping the food. The employees would have to pee in the corner of the Room and they would have no paper and no soap to wash their Hands. When I give them the money the food safety inspectors can buy better equipment to search the food better. Child labor is getting your $300,000 because children are going to work instead of school because their families don 't have enough money. Children have to work in dangerous jobs to get money.
Should School Lunches Change For a long time now people have been arguing over whether or not to change up the restrictions to the lunches served in schools across America. Many different arguments have come up in recent years. School officials should not change up the school lunches because some people need more food than others, they should not be able to tell them what they can and can't eat, and finally because it will take lots of time and money to make the switch. The first reason schools should not put a limit on school lunches because some students need more food than others.
The good prisoners should have working privileges outside of the person to provide for the needs like food, televisions, and health care. Study shows prisoners that are employed do better in and out of prison than those who aren 't working. If prisons were efficient enough to grow their own food and livestock, then their work will have made their punishment more fair for them and make the taxpayers not have to pay as much to support them. This good to have because prisoner have to work for everything just like a regular citizen. This will allow taxpayers to pay less for the prisons needs.
While taxpayers are juggling the price the inmates are in a cycle of suffering. Private prisons in Michigan were found serving rat-infested food, underfeeding inmates, and severing spoiled
I have been in school for thirteen years, a staggering 76% of my life; and after all this time nothing has changed. Every single day I get served the same unhealthy, inedible lunch. It is something I can no longer do, I will no longer sacrifice myself to clench my hunger and thirst with this nauseating, unsavory, unappetizing food. Yes breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but many of us do not get to eat breakfast because we are rushing to get to school. So why not fight for a better school lunch that all kids can enjoy and energize from?
To begin with, the taste alone of school lunches is beyond unsatisfactory. The meals provided by public schools are not appetizing. There exists a tangible disconnect between the enticing, nutritious meals advertised on the school board’s menus and what the students actually receive—pathetic portions and lukewarm meals slapped onto a tray. Children’s complaints about school lunches are often seen as trite. However, while common, they are not any less accurate.
Have you ever wondered if you could ever change the school lunches in the Public schools? Well you’re not the only one, many other people thought about changing the way you eat at lunch and started to change it. Some trials have failed but some have succeeded at the trail for their public school. But some administrators what it to come to all schools, for the fact that they are losing money because kids stopped eating lunches at school.
This section examines the issue of BSM targeting. The study begins by exam-ing the household data and providing a descriptive statistical analysis. Then, estimates based on a probit model are used to investigate the issues. In order to determine eligibility households, I order households in the data set from worst to best based on expenditure per capita. Then, I estimate the con-sumption quartile in which a household lies (see table 5-6).
