How did middle school change me? Middle school changes people, people lose friends in middle school, and people learn that a good life isn’t just handed to them. I learned this lesson to. And not only by my teachers,for example ,my soccer coach. He taught me that if I don’t work hard for a place on the team, and if i didn’t I might not even play at all.
Now that I am in middle school I’m smarter, more mature and I am older. I am 12 now and my parents expect more from me now,which makes sense I am no longer in elementary school.Now that I am 12 if I do something “dumb” that “dumb” thing might result in something worse than it would if I was 10 or 11. And I feel like I need to “adapt” to this before it’s too late. 5th grade was awesome. We played soccer, football, and sometimes basketball. When I passed to 6th grade all my friends went to Tejeda while I went to Bush. This wasn’t so bad for me because I saw a chance to make new friends, and I have, although I still miss my other friends I feel like I have more friends here.
Recess; recess was the best part of the whole school year. I got to hangout with my friends we would play soccer, football, and sometimes basketball I got to talk and talk and talk without getting in trouble from the teachers!!! Sadly in middle school we don’t have recess all we have is aim and most of the time they don’t let us talk in aim. Only on Fridays we can talk and play sports, well that’s at least what the teachers say even though we’ve only gone outside once; It’s been 10 weeks!
So yah middle school has its ups and down, you lose friends, you lose privileges such as recess, you make new friends and you get beat at everything by older kids, but you also learn very valuable lessons and that’s the important part: getting through
