The challenge that I chose to accomplish or to try out for my second Day of Different, was to attempt pottery. Making items such as cups and plates in a process through pottery can be a challenge because it can turn out to be successful or it can turn out to be a failure. I chose to try pottery because it is certainly out of my comfort zone because it involves art skills and art is not a subject of mine that I’d prefer. Another factor that contributes to choosing pottery are my grandparents because they used to do pottery as well. Being filled with curiosity, I wanted to know more about my grandparent’s experience. My mother and I had looked up a couple of addresses, made some calls to ensure the time and date. We decided to visit the studio called “Studio On the hill”. I decided to make a beautiful and elegant vase. Before visiting the studio I was beyond nervous about making my vase. I was afraid that my vase would not turn out as good as I wanted it to be, and I was also anxious that I would mess up in the process. As soon as I got to the studio, I had gotten a productive feeling and a positive vibe! I felt ready and I was extremely excited.
