The Leading Factors Of WWII Due to the devastation produced in WWI, The Treaty Of Versailles was legislated to distribute regulations and law altercations, create closure to the previous war, but most importantly, to prevent any consequential wars and ensure peace and equality amongst the nations. However, imperialism, nationalism and militarism erupted as a result of the harsh constrictions enforced by the Allied Powers. The treaty was used as a pathway to revenge for the damage Germany had caused on the Allied territory, initially manipulating the treaty to inflict punishment either than peace. Using his control of Germany’s media, Hitler was able to persuade and brainwash the public into glorifying the idea of war amongst nations, essentially idealising complete dominance over opposing countries. Furthermore, this glorification was used in all levels of society including the education of the nation’s youth. Hitler’s education system (The Hitler Youth Group) played a crucial part in creating a Nazi Germany which cultivated a loyal following to Hitler and the Nazi party. The Hitler youth group contained selective, nationalistic, biased curriculum that was plainly used to construct the German youth into militaristic, Nazi soldiers. On September 27th, 1940, Germany, alongside Japan and Italy, signed the Tripartite Pact, which became known as the Axis Alliance. In desire of territorial expansion and the shared hatred of Soviet communism, the Axis Alliance adjoined together to dominate their oppositions and in retrospect, take complete supremacy over the Allied Powers.
