P3 The legal issues of the use of information is the data protection act which was introduced in 1988; the act regulates how someone’s personal information is used and when it is used by inviduials. Someone’s personal data can be held in a computer database or manually on paper documents the way this can affect the businesses is that they have to make sure the data is in a protected environment as the items that will happen if they do not do it is. It is officially known as making a disclosure in the public interest the way this can affect the business is that the companies may have their staff reporting to the higher up in the command. Workers can report any things that aren’t right, that are illegal or if anyone at work is preventing them from doing their duties. One of the other ethical issues is the internet as it is used by many organizations over many sectors within a business. The internet can be a problem if employers get distracted with the internet they won’t be doing their work.
