Lorne’s horse boy is because the circumstance creates opportunities to acquire humility. Johnny’s character displayed the opposite of humility. He spoke arrogantly, treated others poorly and acted pridefully. However, this mindset would not be permitted at Mr. Lorne’s printing shop. Formally, when working for Mr. Lapham with two other young apprentices, Johnny was far more talented than the others, and subsequently acquired the large majority of the revenue.
In the movie, “Johnny Got His Gun,” Johnny's flashbacks are from a combination of ether and the battle Johnny made it through. His head is very messed up and injuries are very bad. Because of these nightmares, they bring him flashbacks. It is on account that his injuries are so bad that remembering home and his girl are his ways of coping. His first flashback is of having conversations with his girl.

In conclusion, he would have amounted to nothing whether it be the military or life; he would have not been a tragic hero.
“A true hero isn’t measured by the size of their strength, but by the strength of their heart.” A hero is a person that does something to help or they can also save someone 's life. One example of, being a hero is Darry because he takes care of Ponyboy and Sodapop. Another example, of being a hero is Johnny when he saved Ponyboy and the little kids. A further example, of being a hero is Ponyboy when he also saved the little kid’s life and when he wanted to take the blame for killing Bob.
He didn't mind the Minny was working for Celia. Johnny knew Celia had hired someone to help around the house because he said the food is not burnt anymore. Johnny didn't care that Minny was helping out he was actually relieved that Celia hired her. There was no point to keeping this secret. Why keep a secret when it turns out it wasn't bad at all and you didn't have to carry around all that stress.

In the novel The Outsiders by S.E Hinton, it goes over the life of a teenager and the pain of losing your loved ones and only having your friends to rely on. All decisions made in the story were crucial in every way since it went over real life situations. One character who’s decisions were influenced by the gang members called the Greasers and the environment he lived in was Johnny. Some decisions Johnny made that were influenced by the gang members were killing the Soc, wanting to turn himself in, and saving the children in the burning church.
Also, Johnny was only the one who serves as a vent to his parents’ anger. Days pass and years pass, Johnny was horribly scared of violence. If he hadn’t helped him then Johnny would have died sooner in the book. Books can be different and the same as movies. In the book and movie there were many similarities and differences and many themes. Some similarities are the movie scene, Johnny kills Bob, Ponyboy and Johnny run away to a church, and They both cut their hair. The differences are Dally pushes Ponyboy in the movie but not in the book, Johnny’s killing scene is more described in the book, Johnny brings more things to the church than in the book, and Johnny says he wants to kill himself in the movie.
Johnny probably had one of the worst lives of the greasers, yet he still managed to stay optimistic even after being beaten on an almost daily basis. Johnny would also stand up for people even after being isolated for most his life, as shown when Dallas was harassing Cherry and Marcia.
