People always ask me “What do you plan on doing after High School “. My response is always “I Am going to become a dental hygienist “. And I say that statement with confidence. A Dental Hygienist is a licensed dental professional who specializes in preventive oral health. That means they clean a lot of yucky teeth, however dental hygienist is also able to perform other jobs like giving local anesthesia to patients, taking x-rays for the dentist to see and giving advice on how to prevent negative oral health issues.
The career field that I have chosen to go into is the medical field. In the medical field I would like to become a dental hygienist. The background that I have on dental hygienist is that you exam gums, clean teeth, and teach about oral care. The research that I have already done on this profession is a dental hygienist annual salary and required hour of work. Growing up as a little girl, surrounded by Barbie Dolls, dresses, and piggy-tails, sparked my interest in becoming a princess. I grew up an only child, without any older sisters to teach me how to apply make-up correctly or braid my hair for me. I learned everything by myself, using the auspicious approach of trial and error. After entering middle school, I quickly realized my archetypical goal was not exactly realistic. Although dismayed, I was not discouraged, nor were my interests in cosmetics altered.

Thirdly, we can discuss the healthy and suitable way to achieve your own personal appearance goals. Fourth, we can change up the media and celebrity culture. By allowing a wider variety of figures into this industry it will allow women around the world to feel comfortable in their own skin. Fifth, we can eliminate the comparison and competition we have with one another to “look the best” and “be the sexier women.” Lastly, and this goes to all women, we must learn to have respect in ourselves and look after ourselves and one another to be beautiful individuals in our own, unique way (Ramsey).
I have always enjoyed the art of cosmetology because it helps bring out people's features, makes them feel more confident, and there's always different looks for everyone. I remember when I would get my hair done, being so intrigued by the art that came from it. How changing the color of someone's hair can change there whole look, or how a simple haircut can bring out certain face features. When I first started doing hair and makeup, I was not very good, but the more I kept practicing the better I got. On the other hand I have always been pretty good with doing hair.
“It's the best she can do,” she says. She begins to imagine a scenario in great detail as if it's really happening. “You're just sitting there but somehow fill the air, you're everywhere and invisible. I breathe you, I walk on you, I curl you into Deb's frosted waves.” This shows her inability to focus on doing her clients hair.

Essay #1 It seems like yesterday when I was in high school trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my future. When I thought about the career I would want to pursue I was having trouble picturing myself in the type of work I would be most satisfied in. Around this same time, I suffered a sports injury and had to receive physical therapy in order to heal. This is what initially got me interested in working in rehab.
Hairdressing is an integral part of our lives because everyone likes getting their hair done because they want to look and feel good about themselves. Ask yourself this – Do you check for split ends? Do you secretly wish you were a blonde, Do you love getting new styles and colour? I’m guessing you’ve answered YES to all these questions! The truth of the matter is we are generation of self-obsessed narcissists.
Every little girl plays with her mothers makeup. I used to watch my mother and sisters do their makeup every morning, and I would sit in front of a mirror and try to imitate their actions. As soon as I could walk, I was getting into their makeup. This continued for years until I bought my own materials to gain more experience and expand my creativity. I would use my imagination that makeup brought, and I would test different designs on my friends and family.
This is not just because many of us believe that appearances are vital, but also because our hair represents our personality, thoughts, beliefs, self-esteem, actions and motives. This is the reason, we often get excited by watching hairstyle catalogues of the saloon or parlor before our cut and totally lost in confusion for choosing best style that suits. Because you’ll be remembered everywhere because of your hair. Yes, people look at your eyes and your face, but what they don’t forget (ever) is how great your hair looked. Good hair is something everyone wants to be remembered
Ever since I was young, dentistry had sparked my interest for my career. Dentistry appeals to me chiefly because I had always wanted to be involved in a profession where I can help people. My love towards human biology especially human teeth also contributes to my career choice. Most importantly, I find human teeth interesting, often fascinating. Due to my compassionate nature, I have since long known that I would want to pursue dentistry as my career because I get to form relationships with my patients, work hand in hand with many people on a face to face basis.
