I’ve become more confident in my writing. More willing to express myself. Grades aren’t important to me but good grades are necessary. Any cheater could get good grades but it’s more about the mystery of the skill and if you actually learned and understood.
How have I improved as a writer? I am thinking about my action plan as a writer have I improved, have I met the goals I set out to achieve on my first day of class, and what have I learned in this class? I will go over my time in this class and review the various topics I mentioned above and more. Looking back over my time in this class I will critique and praise myself. How I felt about writing when I first started this class compared to how I feel now, I would have to say I am more comfortable with writing.
It was uncomfortable for me to be around my classmates, but everyone in the class seems to be nice to me because I was the new kid. They didn’t have problems with me and I didn’t have problems with them. As time goes on, I began to feel
I am always respectful to all people, including my peers and teachers and I always take the opportunities I have to improve my academic performances. Last year I joined many after school curriculums like art club, dance club and yearbook club. There are 5 things that affect the student I am in the 1LT Charles W. Whitcomb Middle School.
I always give respect to all my superiors and my classmates, I always respect their decisions, and I respect all my teachers. If any of my friends are sad I become concerned, and try my best to help then with it. I am courtesy, I am always polite towards everyone, I never try to be rude to people, I say “ yes mama”, “ No mama”, “yes sir”, “ No sir”, and please and thank you”. Literacy Narrative Essay Well, there are many things that made me the reader and writer I am, only a few important events had huge impacts on me. Events such as; teachers constantly correcting my grammar, not being able to pronounce certain words, and a soccer injury that made me a pick up a book. These things helped me become the reader and writer I am. It gave me motivation, strength , and courage.
As a student in class I felt like I did really well. I really enjoyed the class, and learned something new every time. If I could change anything I would try to be more interactive in class and participate more. Also, I would have spent more time really looking into the different writing processes to really attack the writing style. Overall, I enjoyed the class and enjoy writing a lot more than I did
My sentences still read very choppy although they are much better than when I started this class. This can be ironed out of my writing by spending more time proofreading my papers. The sentence fluency I think will come the more I write, even by my last paper I feel it has improved drastically compared to my first paper. I think I could have been even more successful in this class if I had spent more time out of class proofreading and using my time better while I was in class. I feel that I have grown more than I originally planned on because this class involved us more in the first quarter.
High school has impacted my life in so many ways. High School taught me so many things, from personal relationships to creating a relationship with my education. As a freshman, I made a huge amount of mistakes and I regret doing foolish things, but I’ve realized, I was only maturing into the young adult I am today. Freshman year, I was out of focus and I was only trying to find myself. I would also prioritize other things and ignore my parent’s advice, where they would tell me to focus in school and give it my full attention.
I feel like I have made a lot of progress in this course. I believe that I am better prepared for future writing assignments. This semester I believe that I have learned how to write better, how to incorporate source material, and how to write in MLA format. This semester I believe that I have considerably improved my writing skills.
Not only was I proud of what I learned in those classes, but I was recognized and rewarded for it as well. My goal could be achieved; my hard work could be rewarded. This realization gave me more confidence in my academics. I now feel driven by the fact what I set my mind to can be achieved when I give it my best effort, and believe in ability more
