Would you want to do college sports but still have all of your college work to do without getting payed? Most people in college are very focused on school and getting a job to pay for college. School sports could get in the way, if they could be working or studying when their going to practice. College students need to be able to pay for college but still be able to provide food and other hygiene for themselves. College athletes are usually already really focused on their sports and should get a reward to help them out with school.
High school coaches should not be required to give equal playing time to all players who make the team. Kids in society have been handed things their entire life. There has been little to no sense of accomplishment after earning a spot or position on a team. Spots should be earned by being the best at what someone does, not for pitty and for moral victories to make them feel good. “In high school, kids should understand playing time is earned.
Most athletes do have trouble making the tradition of staying caught up in your classes and taking part of the this would benefit both sides of the argument. Student-athletes work really hard to get where they are today. By going with this program it would give the student-athletes a better chance to finish their education rather then skipping your last 3 years to about 1 years of age. Student athletes should be allowed to at least have sponsors, or endorsement deals. These athletes put their blood, sweat and tears into sports, and it's only right to allow this whole program to happen.
As you continue that sport you are less active participant in your school classes and extracurricular activities so as you continue you will stop showing up then eventually will just fail the class. So what I am saying is that college athletes need to be forced to go to class and get that college degree before they make it pro. I feel like colleges should make the student be forced to set a class schedule and degree before they ever make it to the sports world. Know you can say well college does that but they say they do it
I believe that students should not be required to do community service, by forcing students to do community service it does many things to the students social life and school life. Forcing students to do community service can cause stress towards the students, Students already have a stressful year especially seniors sense they have to submit tests and applications. Adding more to the plate of the students plate will cause them to rush things like school work and other things because community service requires so much time that that the student may not have.
It is unfair to high school students who have to do community service hours in order to get their diploma. While doing community service teaches students responsibility, it distracts them from their more important school work. Students are then worrying too much about how they can get their homework done and study while at the same time getting their community service hours in. Community service should not be a requirement to graduate high school. Community service should not be forced upon someone.
Volunteering should be done intrinsically. Many students find community service so difficult, time consuming, and not enjoyable. Therefore, they tend to only complete the required hours without any essential effort. To call mandatory community service 'volunteering ' is a problem because then we begin to confuse the distinction between an activity that is willingly done and something that is obligatory and perhaps not always rewarding. Volunteering should be something you choose to do because you want to do it, not because somebody made you do it.
