After all, they had more troops and they were better trained. There were many factors, though, that led to their defeat. Just like in the Revolutionary War, the British underestimated the Americans, and that was their main issue. Arrogance was a factor in this. Admiral Cochrane, for example, would not accept his men’s plan of how to move the barges from the bayou and instead wasted days executing his plan of how to do it (128).

The war lasted from 1939 through 1945. United States was brought into the war when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor. The way that the United states won the war was because our military is strong, we had good allies, and great leaders in office and on the battlefield.
The majority of Americans opposed war because they were untrained and had no military experience or supplies. Although the colonies did not have a history of successfully working together and they opposed war, they were willing to do whatever it took to be independent. So, how did a mis-mash group of patriots defeat the British Colony? With the help of a farmer named John Adams, of course.
With this information in mind the colonists along with the Natives would lure their enemies mostly onto the field where they would obviously have the upper hand. Since the colonists lived in the area they would be able to utilize all the different terrains to create their ambush strikes and very well-coordinated attacks to unknowing English troops. This advantage allowed the colonists to have lesser casualties as opposed to their enemies. Since America had a large territory, the remaining troops would have to wait months at a time for other troops to arrive at the port. Colonists then would use that time to attack the remaining English

The British government was not looking for the best of the people. They were only thinking about what they wanted; the government was not interested in what the people wanted so they decided to make decisions on their own, which resulted in changes that form the United States today. Because of this, they were justified in rebelling and declaring independence. One reason why the colonists decided to rebel and declare independence was because of taxation.

However many Americans felt that nobody listened to their concerns which made them unhappier and a year later, the fight against Britain broke out in Lexington and Concord(1). If all of you do not help us fight, the state of our colonies will be worse and we will be under the British rule permanently.
