Have one of he or she’s friends ever dealt with conflict? Probably, Did he or she have a good point-of-view or bad point-of-view, And how did it affect your point-of-view. In Touching Spirit Bear by Ben Mikaelsen a summary is “After smashing peter’s head into the sidewalk he goes to an Alaska island, And after getting mauled by a bear, he goes back to Minneapolis but the circle makes him go back but he has to pay for everything, When Peter comes to the island Cole tries to make it right with him but after Peter beating up Cole Peter says that he forgives Cole”.
Everyone is different. We all have our own personalities and we all take different directions in our lives. People often find themselves lost in this giant world and feel as if they can't share what they are truly thinking or feeling. They hide their personalities and shield themselves from the people of the world, and the quote "Character is what you in the dark." all the more true.
The immediate community around people is the important reason that people act in the certain ways. Usually, what people being like at society is not what they are actually being like as themselves. From their immediate communities, people gain the impressions society gives to them. Some people may misunderstand themselves through being at the society; some people may become selfish by seeing other people act selfishly. Overall, people are changing when context is changing.
Everyone has character traits that describe who they are, it is not uncommon for people to share some. A character trait Odysseus, from the epic poem The Odyssey, and I share is optimism. I have been optimistic through the hardest of times and the easiest of times, just like Odysseus. I was optimistic in getting a dog because my mom said we could not get a dog until she stopped working. When my mom had stopped working, she said I had the maturity to take care of a dog
Change. What causes it? People change when they realize who they are and who they want to be. They change because of the people around them, how they react to a situation at hand, and to become who they want to be. People change based on the people around them, they may adapt and become them or they may realize that’s not them and become the opposite.
People should be encouraged to express their own unique qualities because other personalities help you find out things you never knew about your own or help you do things you wouldn’t normally do on your own. P2. We should have a mix of both similar and different
All living creatures are born with certain abilities, their nature; and those abilities have the potential to change depending on how the being was raised, nurturement. Human nature is the way a person is born
How can we tell the true essence of a man? Why is it that we focus on the outward image of a person so much that we blind our eyes from the true spirit of the individual within? Unintentionally, we separate people based off the judgements we preconceive and conclusively bypass the full essence of a person There once were two extremely intellectual men who enlightened the world with their own unique optimism and opinions. Niccolo Machiavelli and Martin Luther King Jr. set off sporadic flames of change within their individual eras that ignited revolution and constant metamorphosis amongst society. Although Machiavelli had a more deterred conception when it came to certain ideologies and moral principles, it as because of honesty that people began to broaden their viewpoints of life and welcome new ways of thinking,
Personally, I value character and believe that it’s one of the most important traits a person can possess. I have been taught from a
Odyssey displays many traits of leadership. First, his leadership is demonstrated when his crew obeys his commands. Homer’s text states that his crew “delivers me from my restraint.” Because his crew respects him, they obey him. As well as demonstrating strengths, he also portrays character weaknesses.
“Philosophers say man forms himself in dialogue.” -Anne Carson. Everyone talks. Everyone has conversations on a daily basis. A person’s personality can be determined through how they speak.
What makes all of us different? Is it the way we look or is it our personality? Or is it the environment and our surroundings? Studies have shown that a person seems to adapt to the people and items that are around them. In society it seems that everyone has to be the exact same, and if you aren't then you are an out cast.
There are many problems with this view. An egoist may believe that they are unique, but so does another egoist across the street. An egoist in a different state as the other two believes they are unique as well, but so does an egoist living in a different country. All over the world there are egoists that believe they are special, but they are not. It is impossible for everyone to be unique.
Although one’s behavior can be the same as others, especially if they are in the same setting, however those who are in two completely different contexts will experience different reactions, just dependent on exactly where they are. Furthermore, this theory demonstrates that once we have been in a specific setting long enough, then that’s when our behaviors will become consistent over time. On the other hand, individuals might experience particular actions because they arrive at a specific setting, with an already preconceived idea of what to expect causing them to alter their behaviors based on their thoughts about the background. Another reason might be that we adjust our responses because we are unsure of how others might view or accept us being in their environments. Either way, individuals might not be aware of it, but once our surroundings change, then our behaviors is changed as
Behavior cannot be defined as permanent. It keeps changing overtime with regards to one’s social experiences and how they have developed as a person from birth through adulthood, although their personality and temperament may be more consistent as those are fairly hard to completely change and refine no matter how much a person wants to or a person should. Those can only be slightly altered so those aspects of their behavior can be found to be more consistent (Brief, 2015). So basically to sum it up, human behavior is the manner in which one conducts themselves which allows others to have an insight into the person’s mind, as to what the person’s attitudes, values, culture and beliefs are as these factors influence the way in which an individual behaves.
