Acknowledgement First of all I would like to express my special thanks of gratitude to my lecturer, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ivie Carbon Esteban who gave me this opportunity to pursue a project on the sports community of dodgeball. This allow me to perform a lot of research in order to understand more about the community and increasing my cultural knowledge and also to do a written report of my findings that may become a learning experience for others. There are certain elements that are required in a game that differentiates a great team and a normal one. These elements are comprised of desired leadership, unmeasurable hard work and above all teamwork. With that have won various achievements, the most recent few would be United Against Crime Dodgeball Tournament 2013 (Champion), Summit Dodgeball Open 2013 (Champion), Help Open 2013 (Champion and 1st Runner Up), and Malaysia’s Teen Carnival 2013 (1st Runner Up). All these great achievements does not come freely because all the team members of the community play a crucial role. Eye Contact VS Facial Expression
The Influence of Modern Technology on Communication Communication does not only takes place face to face because of the technology we have today. The Dodgeball community also communicates using the technology of the computer and telephone but because of the technology this days we do not need a separated device that serves specific function. For instance, if a person were to have a smartphone, it is as if the person is having both the functions of the telephone and computer. The Dodgeball community have created a social chat group on the most celebrate social network in this current era, the Facebook, naming the fan page “Devil’s Duke”. The chat group is initiated for the purpose of having an extra mode of communication with everyone from the Dodgeball group so that it would be more convenient because the teenagers now a days are all very tech savvy. The technology this days are so extreme that even children of two or three has already constantly having access to an Ipad or and Iphone.
Why is it Easier to Communicate within a Community with this
