The Exxon Valdez was a supertanker ship that caused an oil spill on March 24, 1989, in Prince William Sound, Alaska. The Exxon Valdez oil spill happened because of several reasons. The oil spill disaster damaged the Prince William Sound, Alaska area because of the water pollution it caused. They fixed the Exxon Valdez oil spill because of their workers and the people who helped. The Exxon Valdez oil spill happened because to several reasons and the oil spill disaster damaged the Prince William Sound, Alaska due to pollution and they fixed the oil spill disaster because of their workers and people who helped.

The 1989 Exxon Valdez oil spill involved a ship delivering oil in Alaskan waters. It ended up in an accident at Alaska's Prince William Sound after hitting with Bligh Reef. Bligh Reef, also known as Bligh Island Reef, was hit by the Exxon Valdez ship due to its faulty radar and the captain's recklessness and incompetence since he was drinking at the time of the catastrophe. Bligh Reef, sometimes known as Bligh Island Reef, is a reef off the coast of Bligh Island in Prince William Sound, Alaska. The Exxon Valdez ship hit the Bligh Reef because of its broken radar and the negligence and incompetence of the captain.
