Chris Pavano and his friends were surprised to see a person who turned out to be Jordan Abram’s mother. Jordan Abram’s mother than proceeded to start screaming statements such as “Don’t flirt with me!’ waking up the rest of the Abram’s family. Chris and his friends, now knowing that the house was inhabited began to leave. From there, Jordan Abrams, who gave no warning, shot Chris Pavano for the stairwell; he later died of his wounds.
Jeremy went to the police to issue a complaint, because his house was searched, and left a mess. During his complain, Jeremy was question about his son and his confrontation with Crag, he deny everything. Now the detectives are letting him know that Crag was shot in his front yard. After Jeremy was interrogated and was of no help, the detective had no other choice but to reach out to the news. Four days after a local car dealer got in touch with the homicide squad; informing them that, they recently sold a black SUV to Sarah.
However, it is clear from the beginning that because he was so poorly prepared, he might not survive this trip. The next Chapter confirms this suspicion and Chris’ dead body was found. It is difficult for the readers to stay objective throughout the first Chapters because they do not know Chris well enough and they cannot empathize with his characteristics. They cannot understand his intentions, his dreams, or his character at this point of this story. Therefore, many people who read the Outside article reacted angrily because they did not get any inside perspective of Chris’ ideas at first.
He evaluates all of them and makes the connection that McCandless has the most in common with Everett Ruess. Back in Alaska at the bus, state troopers arrange to identify McCandless’s body. Jim Gallien reads of the finding of the body and talks to the police, sets off a number of events that result in Chris’s body being identified. Krakauer next visits with McCandless’s family, starting together with his father, Walt McCandless, and his mother, Billie McCandless. Billie shows Krakauer pictures of Christopher’s childhood and Walt describes the sorrow his son has caused the family.
Mary was mad at Larry and refused to talk to him. Larry then went to the local gas station and purchased some gasoline. Larry put the gasoline on George saying it was lotion. Then he lit him on fire. Thus the investigation to prove Larry killed George begins.
While on his journey he meets a guy named Jim Gallien. The way they both met is Jim was driving down the highway and he spotted Chris shivering and he pulled over to see what was going on. Jim invited Chris into his truck, Jim asked Chris what his name was and he responded with “Alex”. After that Chris and him have a conversation and Jim asks him if any of his friends or family know what he is doing and he told him that no one but him knew of his plan. Shortly after Chris is now known as Alex.
Policemen and other first responders were tasked with handing out flyers informing the area where the individual’s lived of the situation, as well as investigating by talking to members of the community (“Watch American Murderer”). This also consisted of taking Chris in for questioning. During his multiple visits to the interrogation room, Chris was asked to take a polygraph test, where he was asked questions about his relationship with Shannan, as well as questions about the disappearance of his wife and kids (“Watch American Murderer”). Once the results of the test came back, it was evident that Chris had failed. He was then prompted to confess to his crimes, in which he was denied at first.
‘I was shocked for a while like everyone else. I did not know what to do at that point. The yellow car did not stop and just kept on going. All I knew was that Myrtle couldn’t have survived the crash, and judging from the way her body twisted and folded at the moment of impact, I knew that she had died on the spot. The driver was definitely a cold-blooded individual who lacks morality and does not have a sense of sympathy.
It was a normal sunny day. Samantha was abandoned by the parents at age 15. Samantha woke up knowing that she was not alone in her house. She felt this type of presence with her in her room. She gets a phone call from her friends she had met the day before.
For unknown reasons to the passengers of the yellow car, a lady runs out into the road waving her arms and screaming. Panic and fear fill the bright vehicle as red spatter is added to the paintjob, speeding off from the scene before they can process what they had just done. Not far behind was the vehicle containing Tom Buchanan, Nick Carraway, and Jordan Baker. After speaking to Tom, George is convinced he knows the killer and informs George of this. The rest is history.
This sends the plan into a spiral of events. David Mr. Griffins ring and Mark took his car. Susan is questioned because she is reportedly the last one to see Mr.Griffin. His wife becomes suspicious because of Susan’s answers to the police’s questions. So Mrs.Griffin goes to Susan’s house to question her personally and gets even more suspicious.
When it is stolen by Ace, Gordie desperately pleas “Give it to me! Come on! Man! That 's mine”. Gordie has experienced death firsthand and his family is still “putting the pieces together”, leading them to neglect Gordie.
After lunch they went back to the church , it was on fire. While pulling up, Ponyboy overheard how a bunch snuck into the church before it set flames. Jonny and Ponyboy knew it was their fault, so they jumped out of the car and bolted into the church. As Ponyboy was getting the last kid out of the window, the roof started to cave in while Jonny was still inside. Jonny had a broken back, sever burns and ended up
Later, Tommy convinces Emily to play soccer with him and they talk for a little bit, this helps Emily and Tommy realize that they can be happy and have a good time even though their dad is gone. Tommy finally got back to being the football player that he was before and his team starts to win. Tommy’s team, the Brighton Bears end up making it to the championship game. During the first quarter of the game, Tommy injures himself making a touchdown saving tackle.
