F. Scott Fitzgerald was born on September 24, 1896 in Saint Paul, Minnesota. He was pushed to pursue literature when he was 15 by Father Sigourney Fay when his parents sent him to the Newman School in New Jersey. Father sigourney encouraged Fitzgerald to become a writer when he saw the talent Fitzgerald had at such a young age. Fitzgerald took the advice of Father Sigourney and went to college to pursue writing. Once graduated from the Newman school, F. Scott Fitzgerald made the decision to stay in New Jersey to attend college at Princeton University. Things did not go as expected, however, as it became a lot of him, and he was soon put on academic probation and shortly after, he made the decision to drop out of college to join the Army. Before
