I met red lipstick and glitter at the age of seven, thanks to all-star cheerleading, and we’ve been inseparable ever since. Because of my authentic passion for makeup, I am the perfect candidate for the Fashion Institute of Technology. I express myself through my image, so makeup serves as an outlet for my creativity because I utilize my face as a blank canvas every day. Continuing my education in the advertising and marketing program at FIT would be ideal because I would gain knowledge on how to reach an audience and use my passion to endorse products I love. I was also the social media director for the student government while I was in college. I thrived off of organizing events and I found the final product to be exceedingly rewarding. Cheerleading was also a huge part of my life in high school; when I was not in school, I spent most of my time cheering.
