God, glory, and gold were the three main factors that brought settlers into the New World. God, was primarily what led the settlers into the New World, because freedom of religion was important to settlers during the colonization stage. The desire to spread and expand religion was highly important for settlers. Over the years the influence of religion was emerged within more elaborate aspects. These aspects have being politics, economy, and society. In some primary sources such as the Debate In Massachusetts Ratifying Convention, the South Carolina Constitution of 1778, and the Massachusetts constitution, there were components shown; such as entertainment, investment, and candidate eligibility.
` Religion plays a major role because it is
